Smallpox shots caused unexpected side effects in CDC study

Apr 29, 2005 (CIDRAP News) – In a recent study, some laboratory and public health workers who received smallpox shots reported several side effects that have not shown up in other studies, including joint and abdominal pain, backache, and breathing difficulty.

The side effects were reported by both first-time vaccinees and previously vaccinated workers but were more common in the first-time vaccinees, according to the report by James Baggs and colleagues at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in Atlanta.

"As with recently described cardiac adverse events [following smallpox shots], our unexpected findings of increased proportions of subjects with joint pain, abdominal pain, backache, and difficulty breathing are suggestive of systemic involvement and warrant further study," says the report, published in the Apr 15 issue of Clinical Infectious Diseases.

However, none of the reactions were severe, and they all cleared up within a few weeks after vaccination, according to the report.

The study involved 1,006 laboratory and CDC workers who were immunized with conventional smallpox vaccine (Dryvax) in 2001 and 2002. Most were lab workers doing research in which vaccinia virus—the main ingredient in smallpox vaccine—was used as a vector. The vaccinees were given diary cards and asked to record any symptoms each day for 28 days after vaccination.

Three slightly different diary cards were used during the study period. Only the first version had a question about vaccination history. For participants who used the two later versions, the investigators used a roster of smallpox vaccinees to determine vaccination history.

Of the 1,006 diary cards, 936 (93%) were returned, the report says. Forty-seven percent of the respondents were older than 40, while 37% were between 31 and 40 and 26% were between 18 and 30. None of the workers reported severe reactions, and almost all the reported symptoms had disappeared by the end of 4 weeks. Itching at the vaccination site was the most common reaction, reported by more than 80% of the vaccinees.

Eleven symptoms were significantly more common in primary vaccinees than in those previously vaccinated. These included three of the unexpected symptoms: joint pain (25% vs 11%), abdominal pain (11% vs 2%), and backache (17% vs 7%). The other symptoms for which the two groups differed significantly were muscle pain (46% vs 19%), fatigue (43% vs 29%), swelling at the vaccination site (58% vs 33%), itching on the body (31% vs 17%), swollen or tender lymph nodes (71% vs 33%), pain at the injection site (48% vs 30%), headache (40% vs 25%), and fever of at least 100ºF (20% vs 9%).

Primary vaccinees had higher rates of several other symptoms as well, but the differences were not significant. The symptoms and respective rates were breathing difficulty (4% vs 1%), itching at the injection site (92% vs 84%), cough (11% vs 7%), loss of appetite (14% vs 8%), and chills (19% vs 12%).

By age-group, vaccinees 18 to 30 years were significantly more likely than those in the two older groups (31 to 40 and over 40) to report most symptoms, including joint and abdominal pain, backache, and breathing difficulty. Age and vaccination history were strongly related, as 88% of the youngest group had not been vaccinated before, versus 21% of the middle group and 2% of the oldest group.

Previous studies of smallpox vaccination have generally shown higher rates of side effects in primary vaccinees than in revaccinees. But three of the authors told CIDRAP News that the findings concerning joint, abdominal, and back pain and difficult breathing were unexpected on two counts: because they hadn't been reported in previous studies and because of the significant differences between primary vaccinees and revaccinees.

However, the investigators said previous studies did not look for these specific symptoms, as far as they knew, and added, "This study is one of only a few to describe mild to moderate symptoms following smallpox vaccination especially in a population with both primary and revaccinees." Authors Baggs, Robert Chen, and Gina Mootrey made the comments via e-mail.

The report says that breathing difficulty was not reported as a side effect in a 2002 study by Sharon Frey and colleagues of the effects of diluted and undiluted Dryvax in 665 previously unvaccinated young adults. The current study collected data "about a slightly different set of adverse events" than Frey and colleagues did, and consequently it documented "a broader range of systemic side effects," the article says.

The proportion of vaccinees who reported nausea in the 2002 study was about the same as the proportion reporting abdominal pain in the present study. The latter did not specifically ask for information about nausea, though three people reported it in a space for comments.

"Those who reported abdominal pain and/or difficulty breathing were more likely to report a number of other symptoms, suggesting these symptoms were part of a larger clinical syndrome and not a reporting artifact," the researchers write.

One limitation of the study, the article says, is that self-reporting with diary cards may have made participants more likely to report symptoms than they would have been otherwise. In addition, the lack of vaccination history information for some participants, along with the high correlation of age with vaccination status, meant there was some potential for confounding.

However, the study findings, combined with risk factors in today's population, "suggest that development of safer vaccines should be pursued and further expansion of pre-event smallpox vaccination should be done cautiously," the article concludes.

In their e-mail, the authors noted that some research on safer smallpox vaccines is under way. The British firm Acambis is testing modified vaccinia Ankara (MVA), a weakened form of smallpox vaccine, under a contract with the Department of Health and Human Services. The company has completed a phase 1 trial with 22 patients and plans to start phase 2 trials, in which adverse events will be closely watched, the authors reported. (Bavarian Nordic A/S of Denmark also has a federal contract to develop and test an MVA vaccine.)

The three authors said one other study, being conducted by the Department of Defense and the CDC's Clinical Immunization Safety Assessment Network, could also look for systemic reactions to smallpox vaccination. But that trial is "primarily a cardiac study looking at systemic markers of inflammation," they said.

(Natural News) As Russia’s invasion of Ukraine nears the end of its third month, war clouds appear to be darkening more of Europe.

Just a few hours after Prime Minister Viktor Orban took total control of Hungary after pushing through a constitutional amendment allowing his government to rule by decree when there is war in a neighboring country, he declared a wartime state of emergency.

According to a report by Bloomberg News, the Hungarian parliament approved a state of emergency earlier in the day on Tuesday, which is scheduled to take effect at midnight. That gives Orban’s government “maneuvering room and the ability to react immediately to the ongoing conflict in neighboring Ukraine, according to the prime minister, who spoke in a video posted to Facebook.

Corporate media outlet Bloomberg, naturally, approved of the actions as a victory for “the banner carrier for nationalists worldwide.”

The move comes after Orban told US right-wing celebrities last week at an event in Budapest, which included a video message from former President Donald Trump, that the recipe for wielding full power over a nation requires building your own media and institutions. And, above all, ditching established political norms to “play by our own rules.”

“We need maneuvering and the ability to take action immediately,” Orban said after his ministers took the oath of office. The state of emergency, which he said he called because of Russia’s attack against neighboring Ukraine, will allow him to use “all tools” of the state, he said.

Now he’s the banner carrier for nationalists worldwide, with Trump praising him as a “great leader” in a video stream at the conference.

On Wednesday, Orban’s government is expected to announce the first measures it will take under the new state of emergency. He had been making the case for the action even before his Cabinet was sworn in on Tuesday.

In addition to amending the constitution to provide for the new powers, Orban, 58, also gave his chief of staff new responsibilities to oversee Hungary’s intelligence services.

Orban is the European Union’s longest-serving head of government and is currently in his fourth consecutive term after he cruised to victory last month in a landslide. Notably, he has had differences with other EU member nations over a host of issues including his opposition to an EU ban on Russian oil.

The reason is simple: While Russia certainly did invade Ukraine, Organ knows how dependent the continent is on Russian energy. He also knows that Ukraine is not exactly a model country, being the most corrupt on the continent, or close to it.

Meanwhile, in the Asian theater, South Korea and Japan scrambled fighter jets in response to a rare joint air operation by Russia and China.

“The joint patrol lasted 13 hours over the Japanese and East China seas and involved Russian Tu-95 strategic bombers and Chinese Xian H-6 jets,” the Russian Ministry of Defense noted, as cited by Reuters. The report also confirmed that for parts of the lengthy flight, Japanese and South Korean air force jets shadowed the Russian-Chinese patrol, which included nuclear-capable bombers.

The operation took place as America’s dementia president, Joe Biden, held a “Quad” meeting with fellow leaders from India, Japan and Australia, in part to shore up their alliance in the face of new Chinese aggression. At one point during the meeting, Biden ended decades’ worth of intentional ambiguity over defending Taiwan, claiming in no uncertain terms that he would commit American treasure and blood to do so.

A U.S. official said the exercise showed China was continuing military cooperation with Russia in the Indo-Pacific “even as Russia brutalizes Ukraine.”

“It also shows that Russia will stand with China in the East and South China Seas, not with other Indo-Pacific states,” the official said.

“Check this out: Which state in Brazil locked [down] itself the most? Sao Paulo. Which state had the most deaths per 100,000 people? Sao Paulo. That’s a sign I was right.”

This was not the first time the Brazilian president crossed swords with the global health body – leading to Schwab castigating the strongman.

Back in October 2021, Bolsonaro and WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus tackled the world’s responses to the COVID-19 pandemic and their bigger repercussions. The two sat down during the G21 Summit that month, held in the Italian capital Rome.

The Brazilian leader started the ball rolling by asking if there was “prior consideration” on the global health body’s part when it implemented lockdowns and other measures. “All over the world, there are people who need to work to feed themselves,” he pointed out, adding that “the economy will collapse” if the lockdowns continue.

In response, Tedros said he does not see a need for Brazil to lock itself down due to the country’s high COVID-19 vaccination rate. Lockdowns were no longer necessary as long as Brazilians continue wearing face masks and washing their hands properly, he added.

Bolsonaro also questioned the safety of the COVID-19 vaccines, claiming “many who got the second dose are getting COVID-19. In Brazil, many who got the second dose are dying.”

But according to Tedros, it was possible for vaccinated people to die if they had comorbidities. “The vaccine does not prevent COVID, but it does prevent serious illness and death,” he added.

Meanwhile, Schwab mentioned two conditions that were necessary to bring about the Great Reset he espouses. These came amid Bolsonaro’s refusal to work with the WHO to advance the globalist agenda.

(Natural News) Do Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19) “vaccines” cause AIDS? A growing body of government data from all around the world suggests so, and that the Russia-Ukraine conflict is largely a distraction from it.

Public Health Scotland (PHS), the New Zealand Ministry of Health, the Canadian government, the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA), the Office for National Statistics (ONS), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and many other government agencies are quietly publishing data that reveals the truth, but the media is ignoring it.

Vaccine-induced acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (VAIDS) is arguably a best-case scenario for those who took the jabs. Exposé News says that “something much worse” could be happening that will soon manifest as the worst public health crisis the world has ever seen.

We already know that the “fully vaccinated” are more likely than the unvaccinated to test “positive” for the Fauci Flu. The fully jabbed are also more likely to get sick or die compared to the unvaccinated. How can this be if the injections supposedly “save lives?”

In 2021, rates of AIDS-related diseases, cancers and infections reported to the CDC’s Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) increased by anywhere from 1,145 percent to 33,715 percent. This occurred right after Chinese Virus injections were hastily introduced under Operation Warp Speed.

Covid “vaccines” make a person more prone to catching covid and possibly dying

Each country seems to be reporting the data differently, the one common denominator being that they all appear to be intentionally shrouding the truth. PHS, for instance, announced back in January that starting on February 6, it will no longer report “cases,” hospitalizations and deaths on a weekly basis.

The reason for this is that data clearly shows a link between the injections and all sorts of health problems. In nearly every category measured, the fully jabbed are sicker and more likely to die, it turns out, which is not exactly a good marketing point for the jabs.

“The charts above have been created using the figures published by Public Health Scotland in their ‘COVID-19 & Winter Statistical Report’ published 16th Feb 22, and they show that Covid-19 infection, hospitalisation and death rates per 100,000 individuals were consistently higher among the fully vaccinated population,” reports the Exposé. “This is what Covid-19 vaccination has done to the people of Scotland.”

In New Zealand, the figures are even more striking. Between February 12-24, the number of covid cases recorded among the fully jabbed was 22,699. By comparison, only 1,291 unvaccinated people tested positive during that same time period.

“These case rates, just like the Public Health Scotland case rates, certainly pour water on the bonfire of anyone who says ‘vaccination reduces the chances of being infected with Covid-19,’ don’t they?” the Exposé adds.

“This means the Covid-19 injections have a real-world negative effectiveness, and we’re able to use Pfizer’s vaccine effectiveness formula to calculate it.”

That formula, by the way, looks like this:

Unvaccinated case rate per 100,000 – Vaccinated case rate per 100,000 / Unvaccinated case rate per 100,000 x 100 = Vaccine Effectiveness

Using this formula for the New Zealand data, covid jab effectiveness is shown to be minus-94.4 percent between January 6 through February 11. By February 24, it drops to minus-281.35 percent, meaning the fully jabbed are 3.8 times more likely to become infected with covid compared to the unvaccinated.

When the fully jabbed develop full-blown VAIDS, then what?

In Canada, which saw some of the world’s most draconian restrictions and jab mandates, new covid cases have been skyrocketing as of late. And four out of every five new cases, or 80 percent, are occurring in the fully jabbed.

Canadians who took the injections are, on average, four times more likely to become infected with covid compared to their unvaccinated counterparts; two times more likely to be hospitalized; and three times more likely to die.

In England, the figures are similar to those published by PHS. The case rate there is largely comprised of partially or fully vaccinated people with very few unvaccinated people experiencing any covid-related health problems.

Vaccine effectiveness there was found to be as low as minus-391.43 percent among the 60-69-year-old demographic by week 13. This is nowhere near the 95 percent effective rate claimed by Pfizer.
Keep in mind that the rate of disease and death among the fully jabbed in almost every country where data is available is increasing precipitously over time. This supports the notion that VAIDS is what these people are now suffering from, and that it will only get worse over time.

“Once a person progresses to AIDS, they have a high viral load and can transmit HIV to others very easily,” wrote an Exposé commenter about where this could all be headed. “In the absence of treatment, people with AIDS typically survive for about three years.”

(Natural News) Reports have emerged to suggest that police officers in Uvalde, Tex., where 18-year-old Salvador Ramos is said to have shot up an elementary school, stood around outside and did nothing to try to stop him while parents and witnesses urged the officers to go inside and take action.

One woman could be heard screaming “Go in there! Go in there!” at officers while they stood stationary outside Robb Elementary School, allowing the tragedy to take place without any attempt at intervention, according to the Associated Press (AP).

The gunman, who reportedly lived with his drug-addicted mother and had numerous encounters with police, barricaded himself in a classroom for 40 minutes, we are told, before murdering 19 students and two teachers.

One father who says he lost a daughter in all the carnage considered charging inside the facility himself, without weapons, since police officers who did have weapons refused to do so.

“Let’s just rush in because the cops aren’t doing anything like they are supposed to,” Javier Cazares said. “More could have been done.”

When Cazares rushed to the school upon hearing the news, he was shocked to see officers standing idly by instead of doing their job. His daughter Jacklyn was reported as one of the victims who was killed inside the school.

“They were unprepared,” Cazares told the media.

Since police officers could not “contain” Ramos in the classroom, they apparently just gave up trying?

At the time when the shooter first approached the school, he is said to have “encountered” a school district security officer. Two Uvalde police officers did try to go in after him opening fire, though they were left wounded as a result.

“It wasn’t until 40 minutes to an hour after the shooting began that a tactical team shot and killed him on the scene,” reports The Post Millennial.

In defense of law enforcement’s refusal to intervene, Department of Public Safety director Steve McCraw alleges that officers were working to “contain (the shooter) in the classroom.”

“The bottom line is law enforcement was there,” he says. “They did engage immediately. They did contain (Ramos) in the classroom.” The problem is that classroom was full of students and a teacher.

After getting a staff member with a key to open up the door of the classroom where Ramos was hiding out, Border Patrol agents were eventually able to get inside and neutralize the situation. The circumstances surrounding this are also strange, however, as a spokesperson from the agency chose to speak anonymously to the AP.

Witness Juan Caranza, 24, who was at the scene as the crime was occurring, says he saw Ramos crash his vehicle and run into the school with an AR-15. Caranza says that they were “more of them,” referring to law enforcement, and “just one of him,” referring to Ramos.

Caranza told the media that he believes police officers should have done more to diffuse the situation, or at least try to do so. Instead, they just meandered about outside the school while the tragedy unfolded.

Why they chose to do this, allowing Ramos almost a full hour to have his way with his victims, remains unknown. Were they told to stand down and not try to stop the tragedy? And if so, why? Is this yet another false flag incident that was allowed to happen as part of the deep state’s gun grab agenda?

We also have a story from the left-wing media outlet MSN, declaring, “Uvalde Police Officer Admits Cops Saved Their Own Kids From Robb Elementary Before Stopping Shooter“:

A police officer admitted that the police went inside the school to save their children first rather than stop the shooter.

The officer said, “There [were] some police officers’ families trying to get their kids out of school because it was an active shooter situation.”

The officer continued to talk about the situation while trying to justify the officers that went in to save their children initially.

Video shows devastated parents pleading with officers to enter the school as the cries and screams of the children could be heard inside.

So wait… the same cops who tackled parents, pepper-sprayed one dad and tackled other parents to prevent them from going in were, themselves, rushing in just to save their own kids?

Is this what law enforcement has become now? Even in Texas?

They could have been shot!

One of the most frustrating developments in all this is the fact that Texas DPS spokesman Lt. Chris Olivarez said in an interview with CNN that officers couldn’t continue to pursue the suspect immediately because, “they could have been shot.” This has been reported by The Epoch Times:

A Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) official has said officers “could have been shot” if they engaged the gunman holed up with his victims in a classroom at Robb Elementary School before a specialist tactical team arrived.

“They are hearing gunshots. They are receiving gunshots. At that point, if they proceeded any further not knowing where the suspect was at, they could’ve been shot, they could’ve been killed, and at that point, that gunman would have had an opportunity to kill other people inside that school.”

By this standard, then, all firefighters should just stand back and watch buildings burn down, because if they try to fight the fire, “They could have been burned.”

And I suppose all military soldiers should refuse to fight on the battlefield because if they enter they battlefield, “They could have received artillery fire.”

You get the point.

This is insane.

In today’s podcast, I demand that cops who aren’t willing to pursue active shooters should turn in their badges and stop pretending to be cops. If you aren’t willing to put your life on the line when it counts, you’re no cop to begin with.
