MARCO DE CANAVESES, PORTUGAL – A 48-year-old professional runner has died two days after receiving his Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine. Marílio Costa Leite disappeared on Sunday, July 18th, during a cross-country race in Marco de Canaveses. He was found dead two days later. His family says the vaccine he received before the race may have left him in a “weakened and disoriented” state.

Marílio was a professional long-distance, cross-country runner. Last month he finished a race in which he ran for two days and covered over 30 kilometers/18.6 miles.
