A Q&A with Dr. Peter McCullough, Internist, Cardiologist, and Chief Scientific Officer of the Wellness Company

Dr. Peter McCullough is globally recognized for his leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic, providing expert advice when few other doctors would publicly stand for the truth. Note: this is a 4-part series. In Part I, we will get to know Dr. Peter McCullough, learning of his impressive career in medicine, and the importance of his intellectual courage during the COVID-19 pandemic.

MA: I’m so honored to have you here, Dr. McCullough. Could you give us a little background about yourself?

PM: Sure, I'm delighted. It's great to be with you. I'm Dr. Peter McCullough, a practicing internist and cardiologist in the Dallas Fort Worth area. I've been in practice now for decades and am also trained in epidemiology. It turns out that’s an important discipline to have experience in during these pandemic years.

MA: What motivated you to take such an active role in the pandemic response, and how did your experience in epidemiology influence your approach?

PM: For the last five years, I've taken a lead in pandemic response, focusing on what we should do to care for those who have gotten sick with COVID-19 and how we should respond. I've advised both the US House of Representatives and the US Senate and testified multiple times. You know, Michael, it’s interesting—throughout the pandemic, our public health agencies had no Q&A sessions, no town hall meetings, and the medical schools closed their doors. People have had questions they’ve wanted answered for years now.

MA: You displayed tremendous courage as one of the few doctors who did not comply with the sanctioned COVID-19 pandemic responses. How can others, especially those who are fearful, make decisions that exhibit such bravery in these trying times?

PM: We're talking about intellectual courage here. Bullets are not flying; buildings are not crumbling. We're not scrambling for our lives. But we've been in this intellectual struggle, of, can we actually face what's going on? Or do we want to put our heads in the sand? I think many were especially fearful when their jobs were on the line.

MA: Can you share a specific example of a time when you faced significant backlash for your stance?

PM: When it came down to it, many people said, “Something is going on. I don't fully understand it. But boy, if I stand up and say something, I may lose my job.” Suddenly that job became a real tether for them. I'm so envious of people who are self-employed. They didn’t have to abide by their employer’s wishes. Were you self-employed through this yourself?

MA: Thankfully, yes.

PM: So, I'm so envious. You never had the specter of some large corporation trying to force you to do something against your will. You were fortunate. Those who are independent contractors or self-employed had more options. But can you imagine if you were in the Screen Actors Guild?

MA: It would have been very difficult with my livelihood on the line.  Considering the importance of public opinion and the potential backlash even self-employed individuals may face for being outspoken, what advice do you have for those wanting to take a public stand now?

PM: Let's just talk about courage. Courage is not the absence of fear. Courage is the ability to overcome that fear. That's what we've learned in this pandemic—the ability to overcome fear or uncertainty is not that common. It's just not.

I never considered myself particularly courageous. I've never gone skydiving or done anything physically amazing. I was an academic, a Professor of Medicine. I did what I was supposed to do throughout my career. Certainly, I made mistakes—we all do. But there was no checkbox for courage in college, medical school, graduate school, residency, or fellowship, like, 'Are you particularly courageous?' No. And I think there are checkboxes for policemen, firemen, or people in the military, where it really does take courage to throw yourself into a burning building to try to rescue somebody, or it takes guts to jump out of an air transport plane. I'm not sure I could do that. I'm a doctor but I think what I've always had in the course of my career is intellectual courage.

MA: How did you navigate the opposition from your peers during your early research and what kept you motivated?

PM: I'll give you an example. When I was trying to find my way in cardiology research, I was making observations that kidney disease was influencing cardiovascular disease, atherosclerosis, and heart failure. And I remember that with my first observations, people would say, "No. Now that's just confounding. They just have more diabetes and hypertension."

I said, "No, I think it's actually related to the kidneys themselves." And they said, "No, that can’t be the case." Finally, I said, "Wait a minute. How do these people know that’s not the case? Let’s investigate." So, I really launched my career going against the mainstream narrative of cardiovascular epidemiology at the time and it led to many discoveries. For instance, the kidneys produce a series of hormones that speak to the heart. A seminal paper I published as a senior author explained exactly that. It was published in the New England Journal of Medicine and other top journals. That was a triumph—it was as good as you can perform in my field in terms of a breakthrough. And it was an in vitro diagnostic breakthrough. Back then the naysayers said, "No, we don't need a test to help us with this." I went lecturing across the globe on this matter. That took intellectual courage.

MA: Did you have any mentors or influences who helped shape your approach to medicine, fostering such intellectual courage?

PM: I do give credit to a mentor: Dr. William O'Neill. When I was a fellow, he was going up against a different narrative. At the time, the most dangerous heart attack was called an ST segment elevation myocardial infarction, and the standard of care was to give an expensive Big Pharma drug called TPA. The company promoting this was Genentech. They were in bed with the Cleveland Clinic, and the Chief of Cardiology, Eric Topol, had a deal where he was getting stock certificates every time doctors prescribed TPA.

MA: What specific lessons from your mentor were most impactful in your approach to handling the COVID-19 pandemic?

PM: Back when I was at another hospital, Dr. William O'Neill, who previously supervised Eric Topol at University of Michigan, recruited me and others. We formed this kind of dream team in cardiology. We set out to successfully demonstrate it was better to get catheters up in the heart and open up the blood vessels. That’s called primary angioplasty. We went up against Genentech as a ragtag team of community hospitals and we prevailed. We published paper after paper.

We changed care in the United States after that because we refused to do what everyone else said. Eventually, the Genentech product died out. Nobody used it. A brand-new revolution began in cardiology. Then sure enough, when COVID started, I proposed we treat patients early to prevent hospitalization and death, something that should be so simple to everyone. But the orthodoxy tried to shut us down. They said, "No. don't touch this illness."

MA: You mentioned being brave doesn't mean proceeding without fear. Rather, it’s being able to summon courage despite feeling fearful. You're essentially pushing through it. Is that correct?

PM: That's true. It also takes confidence. Look at the film Braveheart. Mel Gibson plays the Sottish warrior William Wallace who leads the charge to free his country from English tyranny. He's confident. I've always considered myself a very confident person. It's just in my makeup. Years ago I was blessed to have dinner with Larry King, the famous interviewer, before he died. I asked him, "How could you interview Brezhnev and all these heads of state around the world?"

He said, "Peter, I was born confident. When I was a little kid in New York City, I was always the most confident kid on the block." So, Larry King was also inherently confident. I'd characterize myself as inherently confident in my approach, my analytics, and my principles. In medicine, of course, we rely on scientific principles as well as strong evidence and data. I've made hundreds and hundreds of media appearances over the last five years. People have repeatedly said, "Dr. McCullough always cites his information." That’s because I've had the discipline to commit things to memory.

MA: How did all that confidence and preparation help you in your media appearances and congressional testimonies?

PM: I testified in the US House of Representatives on January 12, 2024, just a few days after Dr. Anthony Fauci was there before the same committee. They grilled me for hours. All along, I cited paper after paper I'd committed to memory. I’d practice beforehand. I’d get up in the morning and I’d practice. I don't have a photographic memory. It's just that I work hard. At one point, I did get a chance to ask the committee something. "Listen,” I said. “I've been at this for hours now, citing dozens and dozens of papers. You just had Dr. Anthony Fauci in this chamber. I bet he didn't cite a single paper." They said, "You’re correct, Dr. McCullough. He couldn't cite a single paper supporting his statements."

MA: That’s so frustrating. Especially since Dr. Fauci was all but deified by the legacy media.

PM: Dr. Scott Atlas wrote the book A Plague Upon Our House, had face-to-face interactions with Fauci for months. Scott said Fauci did not know the studies he should have been citing, nor did he know the data. According to Scott, Fauci was so incompetent, he couldn’t even pronounce long medical words. At times he was almost worse than a medical student.

MA: Again, that’s disheartening, especially since so many people in legacy media and our politicians still revere him as the definitive COVID expert.

Dr. Peter McCullough is a distinguished internist, cardiologist, and epidemiologist. He is globally recognized for his leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic, providing expert advice when few other doctors would publicly stand for the truth. Coauthor of The Courage to Face COVID-19, he advocates for patient well-being over governmental, pharmaceutical, or deep state interests.

Note: this is a 4-part series. In Part II below, we explore the likelihood of future pandemics and the impact of COVID-19 on public health and the food supply. We also discuss the controversial WHO treaty that was just defeated—for now—and its implications for national sovereignty and global health governance.

MA: Are we likely to see another pandemic in the near future?

PM: It looks like we may be on the verge of one in the form of bird flu or a highly pathogenic avian influenza. There's been messaging on this for a long time. GAVI, the Global Vaccine Alliance, Bill Gates’ organization, has been saying since 2021 that disease X, the so-called next pandemic, will be bird flu.

Biotechnology company CSL recently acquired an FDA-approved pre-pandemic vaccine for bird flu in humans. So far, we haven't had substantial cases of bird flu in humans in the United States. The Chinese have been vaccinating poultry for decades, but their vaccines are very ineffective. The birds don’t get fulminant disease or die off in large numbers. They actually just live, spreading the virus and not gaining natural immunity. The French have vaccinated mallard ducks as part of their own gain-of-function research. Even an Athens, Georgia-based lab in America is doing gain-of-function research along these lines.

People have asked me, “How does bird flu land on a farm in West Texas?” The answer is migratory mallard ducks and other migratory waterfowl. So yes, a bird flu pandemic may be imminent ushered in by human agency.

Thankfully, it’s unlikely to significantly jump to humans, even as gain-of-function research continues. For now, I think the casualties will be chickens and hens—not because of the disease, but due to culling. Due to a recent case in West Texas, the USDA has ordered indiscriminate PCR testing of flocks of poultry, even cattle. It has been a massive campaign. Meanwhile, Sid Miller, Texas’ Ag Director in Texas, ordered the culling or destruction of millions of egg-laying hens at one of the nation's largest egg plants. So, what I predict is yes, there will be a pandemic, largely one that will unnecessarily affect the food supply.

MA: That’s frightening. Are you also concerned this situation could pose broader risks to humans?

PM: If there is human-to-human transmission, which hasn't occurred yet, the mortality rate can be substantial. Most of the cases affecting people have occurred in underdeveloped nations with malnourished people presenting symptoms. Even so, it looks like there's opportunity for early treatment. One of the things I do advise is proactivity. My organization, The Wellness Company, offers contagion kits you can pre-purchase. We recently extended these to include an antiviral for bird flu. Importantly, the protocol must be started early.

MA: What other preventative measures can people take to protect themselves from bird flu?

PM: Important data indicates bird flu can be easily killed by iodine. Farm handlers can use a diluted iodine solution, a few drops of iodine in saltwater nasal spray, and/or a few drops of iodine in a scope of Listerine. If I worked on a farm right now, that's what I would do. I personally would suggest doing this at least twice a day, certainly when I came home from handling chickens or being around so much chicken dander.

MA: Changing gears, for those who don’t know, what is the WHO Pandemic Treaty and why is it so dangerous to our nation’s sovereignty?

PM: The World Health Organization behind this initiative is an unelected body, largely supported by a few individuals, including the Gates Foundation, and the Chinese Communist Party, though they do collect money from member nations. Historically, the WHO focused on worldwide health, largely outbreak analysis, data analytics, and in vitro diagnostics.

In my field, the WHO definition of anemia was something useful. However, what we saw during the COVID-19 pandemic was how the WHO aspired for greater and greater power. When they made public statements, most of their instructions were followed by nations, though some were not, which is very interesting.

In November 2020, the WHO said not to use Remdesivir to treat COVID-19 in the hospital. They sponsored a research body called the WHO Solidarity Group. It showed Remdesivir didn't work and, in fact, led to liver toxicity. So, they put out their statement, but nobody listened. In the United States, medical providers continued to administer Remdesivir for COVID-19. It didn't work and actually worsened outcomes for some. Sadly, the U.S. even incentivized the use of Remdesivir. Later, in 2022, the WHO published a paper in The Lancet where they reviewed more data and concluded, ‘We were right from the beginning.’

MA: Can you give another example where the WHO's advice was not followed?

PM: In June 2021, the WHO came out with a statement saying, “Stop PCR testing and COVID testing in people with no symptoms.” (Much of this testing was intended for travel or for work.) The WHO essentially said, “All it's doing is generating false positives.”

Importantly, the yield on this is always less than 1%. Most of the time when the test shows “positive” it's a false positive. People weren’t presenting as sick, so the WHO was right to suggest such curtailments.

However, there were much more perfidious developments with the WHO during the COVID pandemic. I want people to know that in January of 2020, COVID was on the move. Wuhan, China appeared to be the hot zone. (The hot zone is considered the origin of a disease outbreak.) At this point, the WHO said, "We're going to have an investigation. Member nations can have their own teams."

MA: How did the WHO handle the investigation into COVID-19’s origins?

PM: Admiral Brett Giroir, responsible for the testing initiative in the White House Task Force, nominated three eminent independent U.S. scientists go to Wuhan.

But the WHO said, “No. We don't want them. We want Peter Daszak, Head of the EcoHealth Alliance.” Tellingly, Daszak was just on Capitol Hill recently, testifying before the House COVID Select Subcommittee on Coronavirus origins.

It appears Daszak was actually part of the creation of SARS-CoV-2 in a conspiracy with Anthony Fauci, Dr. Ralph Baric, and the lead bat lady, Dr. Shi Zhengli. This is all coming out now. Accordingly, the WHO must have known the lab was the origin of SARS-CoV-2. They invited Daszak to go to Wuhan to investigate. But it turns out Daszak had been to that lab many, many times before. He brought plans for the virus to the lab.

Meanwhile, the first thing Daszak says publicly is, “COVID didn't come from the lab. It must have come from somewhere else.” Then, before you know it, Fauci conspires with Kristian Andersen at Scripps, Edward Holmes at the University of Sydney, Francis Collins at the NIH, and Jeremy Farrar at the Wellcome Trust. Together, they wrote a series of fraudulent papers, deceiving the academic world, stating the virus came out of a wet market in Wuhan, China. Instead, it really came out of the lab, and they all knew it. How? They knew about the research.

MA: It’s heartening that the WHO Pandemic Treaty didn’t pass. For now. What are implications of the WHO's actions regarding COVID-19’s origins?

PM: Years after the events I just described, little has changed officially. If you go on almost all major government agency websites, including the National Security Administration, it still says “We have determined with low probability, SARS-CoV-2 probably came out of the Wuhan lab, but it's not a biological weapon.”

Now, why would they say that? They didn't have to make that determination. Also, it's been pointed out to me we actually have a prohibition on the development of biological weapons going back to 1975. (The Biological Weapons Convention—BWC—which effectively prohibits biological and toxin weapons, was opened for signature on 10 April 1972 and entered into force on 26 March 1975). It's never been ratified but I don't think any agency wants to be accused of violating such a policy. So, for now, they're saying it's not a biological weapon.

However, SARS-CoV-2 was evaluated by an investigative team led by Csaba Bence Farkus, MD and colleagues. They published in Military Medicine, a peer-reviewed journal listed on PubMed. The investigators used about three dozen criteria to evaluate SARS-CoV-2, including what the virus does and how it behaves. The conclusion? It is a biological weapon and a biological threat.

So, you know, we are deep into this. The WHO is part of it. The reason why the WHO Pandemic Treaty is such a big deal is that even after all that has come out—the WHO still wants more authority. They want an agreement binding all member states to follow their orders. This would give the WHO incredible power via international law. If ratified, it would provide their unelected global body total dominion over all plants, all animals, and all humans.

Moving forward, the WHO would decide on pressing health decisions affecting the whole planet. Let's take bird flu as an example. If given such sweeping power, the WHO could step in and say, "We’re in charge now. Vaccinate all chickens," or "Recall all beef," or "Do PCR testing in all grocery stores."

They could make all these proclamations unilaterally under international law. They could even use their power to take on their next “health crisis”—Climate Change. Imagine if they had this unprecedented authority to say, “People are burning too many fossil fuels. We must switch to solar power." They could even declare another lockdown—all to save the planet from Climate Change.

Fortunately, we’ve seen tremendous resistance to such a naked power grab. The World Council for Health Worldwide opposes this. Governments the world over do too. This is heartening, especially since there’s been a media blackout in countries like America. Here this issue is almost never discussed by the legacy media. One other positive development is that nearly all the Republican senators in the US Senate have signed a letter telling President Biden, "We should not be in this agreement."

MA: That gives me hope.

PM: Me too.

Evidence of Massive Editorial Bias for Failed Contagion Control and Vaccines

Why are doctors some of the most fearful, mask-wearing, vaccine accepting individuals on earth? A recent analysis from Dr. John Ioannidis and colleagues from Stanford of the British Medical Journal has concluded there was intentional “editorial nepotism” or favoritism for the same group of frequent editorialist who espoused “COVID-19 zero” policies.

COVID-19 zero was the fantasy that one could mask, social distance, lock-down, and take vaccines every six months and avoid contracting SARS-CoV-2. This was a ridiculous notion once it became clear we were all going to become ill with the virus no matter what we did in our lives. In fact, the vaccines created the resistant Omicron strain which has dominated the pandemic for over two years allowing us to become ill with COVID-19 over and over again regardless of how many vaccines were taken.

You can see from the figure, that the BMJ had intentionally biased their array of articles and was very different from the literature at large. The blue parts of the pie were authors pushing “aggressive measures” including the failed lockdowns, masks, and vaccines. What was in the minds of BMJ editors and the publisher? Did they think the world would not discover this obvious bias? I would conjecture that Lancet, New England Journal of Medicine, and the other high impact journals were very similar in this systematic publication bias. Now it is up to investigative reporters to find out if and how the Bio-Pharmaceutical Complex was pulling the strings.

And just in case you were wondering, yes, the Secretary of Defense made the toxic jabs MANDATORY for service members after the nefarious FDA “approved” them (they never really did) for mass-injection (as a biological weapon of mass destruction). Service members who refused to get the useless, worthless, unsafe, ineffective prion injections were DISCHARGED from the military. The military told the fully unvaccinated to do the “right thing” and that it was a “lawful order” that must be “obeyed” because it is a “valid medical readiness requirement.” Oh, really?

Dr. Astrid Stückelberger dropped some major bombshells during a recent interview that completely blew the lid on billionaire eugenicist Bill Gates, the corrupt World Health Organization (WHO), and other nefarious elements that all conspired together to perpetrate the Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19) plandemic on the world.

A scientist, writer and WHO insider, Dr. Stückelberger used to believe in the work of the United Nations arm until she started to see some serious red flags with the way it operates. Much like the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the WHO functions more like a private corporation than it does a public health agency, working to advance the interests of Big Pharma and other pro-vaccine forces like the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

As a professor at the University of Applied Sciences in Switzerland as well as a lecturer within the Institute of Global Health of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Geneva, Dr. Stückelberger is a credible source, by the way, whose insider information about the WHO is noteworthy.

In a nutshell, WHO member states, of which there 193, are bound by whatever rules and restrictions the WHO decides to impose in the name of “public health.” With the Chinese virus, the WHO pronounced all sorts of new requirements that the vast majority went along with, except for two: Iran and the United States under President Donald Trump.

Behind the scenes, Gates and his cohorts, along with GAVI, were steering the WuFlu ship with the WHO appearing to make all the decisions. And thanks to the way the WHO operates, the plandemic was easy to implement.

“It is embedded in the constitution of the WHO,” says Dr. Stückelberger about the ease with which the WHO is able to decree international ‘health regulations.’ “So, they don’t need to adopt it. It is immediately approved and it’s an obligation, so it is legally binding.”

Bill Gates petitioned to become his own “member state” at the WHO

Gates holds an incredible amount of sway over decisions made at the WHO, which impact most countries around the world. He has paid the agency so much money over the years that he now thinks he has the right to vote as if he was his own country.

Dr. Stückelberger explains that Gates holds immunity in Switzerland where such deals are made, as does GAVI, and has repeatedly tried to become his own “member state” in the eyes of the WHO – though it is unclear if he was ever actually voted in as such.

Even so, Gates still pulls a lot of strings at the WHO. He negotiates and signs contracts on behalf of different countries, acting as the unelected middle man in deciding which vaccines or pharmaceuticals will be purchased by them.

As you may recall, Gates planned for the Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19) with his Event 201 exercise back in the fall of 2019. This exercise involved strategizing for a major pandemic that just so happened to materialize several months later.

Dr. Stückelberger witnessed firsthand how the WHO has been holding the same types of exercises for years, which is what first tipped her off to something fishy. She also notes that in recent years, the WHO has changed all sorts of definitions in its health guidelines to allow for any form of influenza or even the common cold to potentially be declared a “pandemic.”

Even the word “immunity,” she says, which we likewise noted, has been redefined by the WHO to only include vaccine-related “immunity” as opposed to natural immunity.

Their latest poll: 33% of Americans think that the COVID shots are killing a large number of Americans and nearly 25% of people who got the shot regret it.

Which translates into:
