So here is the job: please compare the list of World Economic Forum Graduates below to any new elected official(s) that you are aware of from yesterday’s election. It there are any changes to the existing politicians careers or electoral status, please leave the changes in the comments also.

These WEF graduates have their primary alliances with a foreign entity, that being the WEF. They should register as foreign agents in my opinion. Are these the ones that “we the people” really want running OUR country?

Study: Incurable prion disease linked to covid jabs Monday, June 06, 2022 by: Ethan Huff

(Natural News) New research out of France has determined that Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19) “vaccines” trigger an incurable and fatal prion condition known as Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (CJD).

The study found that the form of CJD caused by Fauci Flu shots is much more aggressive and develops much more rapidly than traditional CJD, which by all accounts was rare in and of itself before the launch of Operation Warp Speed.

“Prions naturally occur in the brain and are usually harmless, but when they become diseased or misfolded, they will affect nearby prions to also become misshapen, leading to deterioration of brain tissue and death,” reports The Epoch Times.

“The disease is incurable as once one prion becomes infected, it will continue to propagate to other prions with no treatment capable of stopping its progress.”

Most cases of traditional CJD are said to be sporadic, meaning a person develops it for no apparent reason, we are told. Small subsets of people supposedly inherit it from other family members, but generally speaking the cause of CJD is still said to be a mystery.

This is not true for jab-induced CJD, however, which is definitively caused by the injections. The first Wuhan “variant” of the Chinese Virus contains a prion region in its spike protein that was also used to develop the things they are calling “vaccines.” And once injected into a person, these prion region-containing spike proteins interact with human cells, causing disease.

“… when the Wuhan variant’s spike protein gene information was made into a vaccine as part of the mRNA and adenovirus vaccines, the prion region was also incorporated,” the Times further reveals.

“As part of the natural cellular process, once the mRNA is incorporated into the cells, the cell will turn the mRNA instructions into a COVID-19 spike protein, tricking the cells into believing that it has been infected so that they create an immunological memory against a component of the virus.”

We are told that this unusual biological process encoded into the mRNA information is “not perfect” and prone to “mistakes.” The incorporation of prion regions into the jab contents and subsequent formation of CJD is just some freak accident, in other words.

Decide for yourself if you think this is an unintended consequence, but skeptics are of the persuasion that these bioweapon injections were intended to cause this type of disease – and probably many others that have yet to manifest (or be identified) in the jabbed.

We warned our readers last fall about injection-linked prion disease. The Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) currently shows a major uptick or “excess” of prion diseases ever since the jabs went into circulation.

Another peer-reviewed study out of Turkey supports the findings of the French study, linking CJD to the Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna and AstraZeneca injections, the latter of which does not even utilize messenger RNA technology.

“The French study found an onset of symptoms within 11.38 days of being vaccinated while the case study in Turkey has found symptoms appearing 1 day after vaccination,” the Times explains.

The thing about CJD, though, is that it can, in many cases, remain dormant for a lengthy period of time. Earlier studies on cannibal groups found that it can hide away for 10 years or even longer before suddenly appearing. How many of the covid-injected will randomly and unexpectedly develop CJD in the months and years to come?

“This confirms the radically different nature of this new form of CJD, whereas the classic form requires several decades,” concluded Dr. Jean-Claude Perez of the French study.

Controlling Minds Using Sound Waves

In 2018, one of the topics of discussion at the WEF was “Mind Control Using Sound Waves”. The title is not altered for sensationalism, those are the words used by WEF.

What happens if this technique for altering our brain waves escapes regulation and falls into the wrong hands? Imagine a dictatorial regime with access to the tricks and tools to change the way its citizens think or behave.

In the article, the technology is touted as a possible treatment for Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s disease. However, the article also states that “it can cure you, it can get you addicted, and it can kill you”. It can also be used to completely control a person’s mind, remotely. The article stated:

I can see the day coming where a scientist will be able to control what a person sees in their mind’s eye, by sending the right waves to the right place in their brain. My guess is that most objections will be similar to those we hear today about subliminal messages in advertisements, only much more vehement.

This technology is not without its risks of misuse. It could be a revolutionary healthcare technology for the sick or a perfect controlling tool with which the ruthless control the weak. This time though, the control would be literal.

The article concludes that nobody can stop scientists from developing this technology. To prevent misuse, it should be regulated by organisations such as WEF.

WEF’s Article Disappears

WEF posted the “sound waves” article on their Twitter profile when it was first published and their tweet, at least at the time of writing, was still available, but the link to the article it refers to, ‘Mind control using sound waves? We ask a scientist how it works’, is now broken – it is a dead link.

The “sound waves” article was removed from WEF’s website a few days ago, wrote Strange Sounds yesterday and reproduced a copy of WEF’s deleted “sound waves” article HERE.  We encourage you to read it.

However, searching for “Antoine Jerusalem” on WEF’s website we found a mention of it as part of another article ‘8 fascinating and fearsome frontiers of science you should know about’ published on 9 November 2018.  The link to WEF’s interview with Antoine Jerusalem included in this second article is, of course, the same dead link.

For interest’s sake, we searched WEF’s site for “mind control using sound waves.”  The results returned 111 items, none of which were the 2018 “sound waves” article.  But judging by the titles, some of the articles are no less dystopian than the one deleted, for example:

So, why are WEF deleting articles? What are they hiding? Are they about to use it? Are they already using it?

Just when you think it can’t, the WEF dystopian vision gets worse.

In 2012 Big Think produced a clip of Dr. Michio Kaku explaining brain-to-brain communication.

Dr. Kaku served as one of 50 inputs for the book ‘The Great Narrative: For a Better Future’. A book authored by Klaus Schwab and Thierry Malleret as a sequel to ‘The Great Reset’.  According to Aure’s Notes – who read the book so we don’t have to, thank goodness – the major trends of the book are more surveillance, more government and more sacrifice, by us not them.

In January 2022, during the week that Davos 2022 would have ordinarily happened, WEF instead hosted a series of virtual meetings called The Davos Agenda.  As part of this, Schwab and Malleret interviewed Dr. Kaku.  This interview also served as input for their dystopian book. 

When asked what major change will make the world a better place, Dr. Kaku answered:

The future of the internet is not digital – it’s neural. We’re in the process of digitising the human brain so that we’re compatible with the internet. We can already record memories and send them on the internet. These are simple memories – memories in mice; now we’re recording memories in primates.

The formation of memories takes place in the hippocampus of the brain, and they can be encoded and put on the internet. In fact, at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, they’ve created false memories, which leads to all sorts of legal and philosophical problems. Next will be Alzheimer’s patients; we’ll create a brain chip and, with a push of a button, memories will flood into their minds. And the US Pentagon will pay for it because of all the GIs who returned from Iraq and Afghanistan with spinal cord injuries and were paralysed.

Eventually, the internet will become the brain-net.

In the future, you’ll want emotions, feelings and memories, and you’ll want to be one with the actor or actress … We, physicists, have been working on this for decades. MRIs allow us to scan thoughts in the human brain. If you’re looking at me, I can extract the image of myself from your brain using an MRI scan; the MRI machine can decompose your brain into 30,000 pixels and reassemble them into a human face. We’ll also be able to record dreams in the future.

The first dreams are being recorded as we speak at the University of California at Berkeley – I’ve seen the pictures, which, I admit, are very crude … Brain-net will take a few decades more to get off the ground, but investors are already jumping into it.

A new study conducted by several doctors on behalf of the University of Colorado has found that Covid-19 vaccination can cause children to suffer Vaccine-Associated Enhanced Disease (V-AED), and further analysis of the confidential Pfizer documents forcibly published by court order reveals both Pfizer and the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) knew it would happen.

The study, published 31st May 2022, aimed to prove that Covid-19 vaccination effectively protects children against multisystem inflammatory syndrome. But unfortunately, they discovered the study authors discovered the complete opposite.

Multisystem inflammatory syndrome (MIS) is a condition that mainly affects children, and causes dangerous inflammation throughout the body, including in the:

  • Heart

  • Lungs

  • Kidneys

  • Brain

  • Skin

  • Eyes

  • Digestive organs

The condition can be both severe and life-threatening. Unfortunately, experts have no idea what causes it, but this hasn’t stopped the U.S. Centers for Disease Control from attributing the condition to complications of the alleged Covid-19 disease.

Researchers from the University of Colorado carried out a detailed study of two otherwise healthy, fully vaccinated children in the USA who were diagnosed with multisystem inflammatory syndrome.

In the first case, headache and myalgia developed in a healthy 14-year-old boy, but by day 7 of suffering illness, fever, abdominal pain, diarrhoea, emesis, bloodshot eyes, red cracked lips, and rash had also developed. On day 10, he was brought for treatment to the emergency department and admitted to a quaternary-care pediatric hospital.

Three months earlier, he had completed the Pfizer-BioNTech 2-dose COVID-19 vaccine series. One month later, he experienced three days of coughing and congestion and tested positive by PCR for SARS-CoV-2 infection, from which he allegedly recovered.

At hospital admission, an examination by doctors noted a sickly appearance, fever (39.1°C), tachycardia, rash, conjunctivitis, cracked lips, and abdominal tenderness.

Laboratory testing revealed hyponatremia; thrombocytopenia; lymphopenia; and elevated C-reactive protein (CRP), N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP), and liver function test levels (Table 1).

An echocardiogram revealed trivial pericardial effusion. While abdominal ultrasound and chest radiograph results were unremarkable. Tests for SARS-CoV-2 spike and nucleocapsid IgG returned a positive. Other infectious condition test results were negative (Table 2).

On the patient’s first day of hospitalization, the infectious diseases section was consulted, and it was determined that the patient’s illness met the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention multisystem inflammatory syndrome criteria.

Treatment improved the rash, headache, and conjunctivitis but fever, malaise, and nausea persisted, and cardiac markers rose. After further treatment, the child was eventually discharged on day 5 of hospitalisation.

Cardiology follow-up 6 weeks after hospital discharge, unfortunately, revealed ongoing fatigue and a new mild left main coronary artery enlargement.

Child 2

In the second case, fever and fatigue, followed by congestion, cough, myalgias, headache, nausea, and vomiting, developed in an otherwise healthy 14-year-old girl.

On day 3 of illness, rapid SARS-CoV-2 and influenza test results were negative, then on day 12, she was brought to the emergency department due to suffering persistent fever, headache, cough, and vomiting. This time she tested positive for Covid-19.

Three months before her illness, she had completed the 2-dose Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine series.

The child was prescribed amoxicillin for possible sinusitis and discharged. But then on day 14, she returned to the hospital for dyspnea and required low-flow oxygen for hypoxemia. Electrocardiogram, troponin, and NT-proBNP test results were normal.

She was admitted and criminally received 1 dose of remdesivir, which was discontinued because of elevated liver function test results (Table 1).

The child improved and was discharged on day 18. However, she returned the next day with a recrudescent fever, emesis, and a new diffuse rash, including on her palms and soles.

Laboratory testing demonstrated elevated CRP, D-dimer, liver function, NT-proBNP, and creatinine levels (Table 1). Abdominal ultrasound and computed tomography showed incidentally enlarged kidneys.

At readmission on day 19, differential diagnoses included multisystem inflammatory syndrome, acute COVID-19 with hyper inflammation, sepsis, toxic shock syndrome, drug reaction, and vasculitis or another autoimmune disease.

A SARS-CoV-2 nucleocapsid IgG test was positive. Additional infectious and rheumatologic test results were negative (Table 2). After discussion among multidisciplinary specialists, doctors considered multisystem inflammatory syndrome most likely.

Eventually, the child was discharged on day 9 of readmittance to the hospital.

What does the Study tell us?

First, let’s take a look at some of the horrific illnesses that were suffered by these two children.

  • Hyponatremia: This is a condition characterized by low levels of sodium in the blood. Its symptoms are similar to those caused by dehydration. In severe cases, the brain may swell, which can lead to headaches, seizures, coma, and even death

  • Thrombocytopenia: This is a deficiency of platelets in the blood. This causes bleeding into the tissues, bruising, and slow blood clotting after injury.

  • Lymphopenia: This is a disorder in which your blood doesn’t have enough white blood cells called lymphocytes, which play an essential protective role in your immune system.

  • Sepsis: This is a life-threatening reaction to an infection. It happens when your immune system overreacts to an infection and starts to damage your body’s own tissues and organs.

  • Toxic shock syndrome: This is a rare but life-threatening condition caused by bacteria getting into the body and releasing harmful toxins.

  • Vasculitis or another autoimmune disease: Vasculitis is an autoimmune disease that causes inflammation and narrowing of blood vessels. Autoimmune disease happens when the body’s natural defence system can’t tell the difference between your own cells and foreign cells, causing the body to mistakenly attack normal cells.

It’s hard to believe that two children could possibly suffer all of these horrendous conditions following infection with Covid-19, when we know that children are at negligible risk of suffering illness worse than the common cold.

But the reason these two otherwise healthy children suffered these conditions is because they had received two doses of the Pfizer Covid-19 injection and unfortunately went on to suffer Vaccine-Associated Enhanced Disease once they were exposed to the alleged Covid-19 virus.

How do we know this? Because it’s all in the confidential Pfizer documents that the U.S Food & Drug Administration (FDA) has been forced to publish by court order.

The Confidential Pfizer Documents & Vaccine-Associated Enhanced Disease

Vaccine-associated enhanced diseases (VAED) are modified presentations of clinical infections affecting individuals exposed to a wild-type pathogen after having received a prior vaccination for the same pathogen.

Enhanced responses are triggered by failed attempts to control the infecting virus, and VAED typically presents with symptoms related to the target organ of the infection pathogen. According to scientists VAED occurs as two different immunopathologies, antibody-dependent enhancement (ADE) and vaccine-associated hypersensitivity (VAH).

Intensive research conducted by health experts throughout the years has brought to light increasing concerns about “Antibody-Dependent Enhancement” (ADE), a phenomenon where vaccines make the disease far worse by priming the immune system for a potentially deadly overreaction.

ADE can arise in several different ways but the best-known is dubbed the ‘Trojan Horse Pathway’. This occurs when non-neutralizing antibodies generated by past infection or vaccination fail to shut down the pathogen upon re-exposure.

Instead, they act as a gateway by allowing the virus to gain entry and replicate in cells that are usually off limits (typically immune cells, like macrophages). That, in turn, can lead to wider dissemination of illness, and over-reactive immune responses that cause more severe illness.

Here’s a short video of the Chief Medical Advisor to the U.S. President, Dr Anthony Fauci, explaining the undesirable consequence. In it, he confirms it could be a possible danger of the Covid-19 injections and that this would not be the first time it has happened.

Now, thanks to an uncorrupted judge we know it does.

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) attempted to delay the release of Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine safety data for 75 years despite approving the injection after only 108 days of safety review on December 11th, 2020.

But in early January 2022, Federal Judge Mark Pittman ordered them to release 55,000 pages per month. They released 12,000 pages by the end of January.

Since then, PHMPT has posted all of the documents to its website. The latest drop happened on June 1st 2022.

One of the documents contained in the data dump is ‘reissue_5.3.6 postmarketing experience.pdf’. Table 5, found on page 11 of the document shows an ‘Important Potential Risk’, and that risk is listed as ‘Vaccine-Associated Enhanced Disease (VAED), including Vaccine-Associated Enhanced Respiratory Disease (VAERD)’.

Pfizer claim in their confidential document that up to 28th Feb 2021, they had received 138 cases reporting 317 potentially relevant events indicative of Vaccine-Associated Enhanced Disease. Of these 71 were medically significant resulting in 8 disabilities, 13 were life-threatening events, and 38 of the 138 people died.

Of the 317 relevant events reported by 138 people, 135 were labelled as ‘drug ineffective’, 53 were labelled as dyspnoea (struggling to breathe), 23 were labelled as Covid-19 pneumonia, 8 were labelled as respiratory failure, and 7 were labelled as seizure.

Pfizer also admitted that 75 of the 101 subjects with confirmed Covid-19 following vaccination, had severe disease resulting in hospitalisation, disability, life-threatening consequences or death.

But Pfizer still definitively concluded, for the purposes of their submitted safety data to the Food and Drug Administration, the very data that was needed to gain emergency use authorisation and make them billions and billions of dollars, that ‘None of the 75 cases could be definitively considered as VAED’.

But Pfizer then went on to confirm that based on the current evidence, VAED remains a theoretical risk.

Further evidence from the confidential document also shows that both the FDA and Pfizer knew the Covid-19 injection has killed at least 12 people who developed an autoimmune disorder, by February 2021. That doesn’t mean these are the only people to have died due to autoimmune conditions induced by the jabs, these are just the ones that were officially reported to Pfizer in the first two months of their vaccine roll-out.

(Natural News) Academic researcher and author JR Nyquist has conducted a bombshell interview with “Mr. Wang” from LUDE Media — the same group that acquired a secret audio recording from high-level CCP / PLA military leaders in Southern China — that reveals China and Russia are teaming up to eliminate the United States and occupy North America.

According to Mr. Wang, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is financing Russia’s war in Ukraine. However, he says, Russia’s best forces are not being used in Ukraine. They have been deployed in the Far East, prepared for action against America.

According to Lude media sources, China will try to use nuclear blackmail and unrestricted warfare to collapse the United States while forcing Taiwan, Japan and South Korea under Chinese control. Failing this, China and Russia will launch a full-scale war against the United States. The Russian and Chinese fleets will be united – not in the same ocean – but by attacking the same continent, North America. The Russians will attack through the Arctic, the Chinese through the Pacific.

According to Mr. Wang, the lockdowns in China have been used to hide the deployment of mobile ICBMs and other weapons. Streets have been cleared and highways closed for this purpose. To avoid satellite detection, missile convoys have been disguised as medical or COVID convoys. Lude Media has reported that Russia and China have an agreement to invade and occupy North America, dividing the territory between them.

According to details from the interview:

  • China is funding Russia’s war in Ukraine. (This alone is a huge shocker.)

  • China used the fake covid lockdowns to clear the streets in order to efficiently move military assets through major Chinese cities in preparation for the attacks on the USA / loading ships with military gear, etc.

  • Military equipment is disguised as covid response equipment such as ambulances or public health vehicles.

  • The PLA is using civilian communications frequencies rather than military frequencies in order to throw off America’s military surveillance capabilities.

  • China plans to blockade Taiwan rather than invading it at first. The blockage will prevent Taiwan from receiving supplies of food, fuel, medicine and military assistance. Taiwan will later surrender after the USA is defeated, according to the CCP’s plan.

  • Once Taiwan is blockaded, China will use “unrestricted warfare” and “nuclear blackmail” to try to isolate the United States while attempting to control the political spheres of Japan, Taiwan and South Korea, asserting control over their exports and thereby denying such exports to the United States. This move, if successful, would collapse the US economy virtually overnight. The supply chain of spare parts, electronic components and consumer goods would immediately vanish.

  • “Unrestricted warfare” includes cyber attacks, financial attacks such as denouncing the dollar and selling off all US Treasury debt, biological weapons attacks, information warfare attacks and even EMP attacks to disable the US power grid.

  • Russia’s best military troops have not been deployed in Ukraine but are being positioned for war against the United States and Canada. This means Russia has reserved its most capable troops for the real war with the USA.

  • Russia has not yet used its most powerful weapons in Ukraine, which could be deployed against the United States: 1) Its nuclear capable submarine fleet, and 2) ICBMs such as the Sarmat-II system which delivers 10-15 MIRVs (re-entry nuclear vehicles) and can evade anti-ICBM capabilities by the USA.

  • China is manufacturing weapons for Russia in a factory that is claimed to be “a subdivision of Norinco Company” (China North Industries Corporation). This is another way in which China’s economic might is powering Russia’s military efforts.

Importantly, China expects to absorb a retaliatory nuclear strike from the US military after China unleashes its attack against the USA. Chinese leaders reportedly don’t care if they lose millions or even tens of millions of civilians in such attacks. They are already calculating this into their plan.

We learned from the audio that was previously released that China expects civil unrest in many of its cities and plans to use PLA special forces military troops to immediately put down protesters in areas such as the Guangdong province.

My analysis: China’s “nuclear blackmail” could involve China launching a nuclear missile that strikes an unpopulated area of America — such as a desert area of Nevada or New Mexico — or perhaps setting off a nuke in the Pacific Ocean off the West Coast as a demonstration of its nuclear capabilities. In the interview, it is revealed that China plans to use tactical nuclear weapons to take out US Navy assets such as aircraft carriers and destroyers / battle groups.

The continental United States will be attacked from the North, South, East and West

Combined with previous sources and intel we’ve received, we now know how the attack against the continental United States will be waged:

  • From the North: Russian and Chinese troops cross from Canada into Washington and other northern states. (Canada will quickly surrender to Russia or China thanks to traitorous Trudeau.)

  • From the South: Chinese troops working with drug cartels invade US southern states along human smuggling routes.

  • From the West: Chinese troops bombard National Guard bases in California with offshore artillery or tactical nuclear weapons, then carry out a beach landing and seize the ports, after which larger ships dock and unload battle equipment for the full-scale war.

  • From the East: Russia detonates its Poseidon underwater drones, unleashing a tidal wave of radioactive water that will inundate the entire East Coast, taking out Naval infrastructure in Norfolk, rendering Washington D.C. uninhabitable and wrecking Wall Street and New York City, among other places. It’s also not a good day to live in Miami.

As all this is happening:

  • China will cut off all exports to the United States from Japan, Taiwan, South Korea and China itself. America’s economy and industry will instantly collapse.

  • China will attack America with cyber warfare, kamikaze drones launched from Mexico and attacks on the power grid infrastructure.

  • China will activate its embedded civilians who are already inside the CDC, FDA, universities, corporations and government bodies, and they will initiate mass sabotage operations to bring America down.

  • Other Chinese agents will activate across the country, arming up with mortars, ground-to-air missiles and firearms, then targeting and taking out infrastructure such as refineries, power substations, police stations, military bases, airports and sea ports.

  • Russia will likely launch EMP weapons to plunge Western Europe into a 19th century existence, then Russia will rapidly move westward into NATO countries, conquering them with its highly efficient ground war capabilities.

Remember that Russia’s attack on Ukraine caused the USA to ship the vast majority of its anti-tank weapons, Stinger missiles and other equipment to Ukraine, leaving the continental United States highly vulnerable. This was all by design. Russia’s war against Ukraine is effectively a grand, global “fixing operation” to occupy America’s limited military resources in Europe while China prepares to invade from the Pacific.

Americans are oblivious, and leaders are clueless about what’s coming

If China and Russia make good on this plan, America is finished. The once great American empire will fall within weeks, and Chinese troops will quickly threaten most of the western half of the United States.

The USA will find itself in a guerilla war against occupying Chinese and Russian troops, with all global supply chains completely cut off and the domestic population facing mass starvation, economic collapse and treason from within as state and federal government officials finally reveal they’ve been working for the CCP all along (nearly all Democrats in power are agents of the CCP, including the traitor Joe Biden).

The dollar will almost instantly collapse, and all the life savings of all Americans will go to zero. Pensions will cease to function, social security will vanish and the stock market will experience such a bloodbath that trading will be suspended indefinitely. Wall Street may never resume operations again.

Tens of millions of Americans will be slaughtered or starve to death in the first six months of this new war, and the disarmed libtard cities and states will be easily conquered, with mass executions of their inhabitants carried out by occupying foreign troops. (Obama will be cheering the entire time, since this has been his plan all along.)

All the lunatic Leftists who have been begging for communism will get exactly what they asked for, it turns out.

Expect mass resistance, however, as Chinese troops encounter more conservative, heavily armed areas such as Idaho, Wyoming, Nevada, Arizona, Utah and rural areas of Colorado, Montana and New Mexico. If China makes it to Texas, they will likely be stopped there by heavily armed Texans who are fighting for their very lives and homeland. (The same goes for Idaho and even rural Washington, for that matter.)

China ultimately needs to conquer America’s breadbasket in order to seize the farmlands and produce food for its expanding empire. But holding the Midwest may prove to be an impossible task, given the widespread ownership of AR-15s, 50 cal Barrett rifles, and long-range hunting rifles that are widely dispersed throughout the region. This is why Joe Biden and the treasonous Democrats are making a last ditch effort to take the guns away from the American people, just before China’s invasion. They want America to be disarmed so it can be more easily conquered.

Prepare for America to be a battleground. And for those waiting around for Trump to “win” in 2024 and then make everything right, you’re living in a delusional dream world. Unless the CCP is stopped soon, there will be no elections in 2024. There won’t even be a United States of America as it exists today. To save America, Joe Biden and all the criminal, treasonous Democrats who rigged the elections must be arrested and removed from power immediately. Arrest all the treasonous Pentagon generals who deliberately made America vulnerable. Shut down the criminal FBI and restore constitutional law in America. Then we might have a chance.

On Ukraine, 'progressive' proxy warriors spell disaster

Urging leftists to support the Ukraine proxy war, Bernie Sanders aide Matt Duss whitewashes the US role, attacks dissenting voices, and advocates the dangerous militarism that he claims to oppose.

The unanimous vote by progressive lawmakers for the $40 billion Ukraine funding bill has been followed by a near-unanimous refusal to defend it. To date, no member of the Congressional Progressive Caucus – with the sole exception of Cori Bush – has publicly explained why they chose to hand over billions of dollars to the weapons industry and intensify a proxy war against nuclear-armed Russia.   

Amid this resounding silence, Matt Duss, a foreign policy adviser to Sen. Bernie Sanders, has stepped in to fill the void. In a New Republic article titled “Why Ukraine Matters for the Left,” Duss attempts to convince fellow progressives that the "provision of military aid" to Ukraine "can advance a more just and humanitarian global order." Duss has only praise for a Biden administration that, in his view, "should be applauded for its judicious reaction to the Ukraine crisis." By contrast, Duss opts to launch an attack on dissident journalists, myself included, who don't share his enthusiasm.

To make his case, Duss omits an abundance of inconvenient facts, betraying either considerable ignorance of the Ukraine-Russia conflict or a deliberate effort to distort it.

While apologia for US hegemonic projects is normal in DC foreign policy circles, Duss' contribution is particularly noteworthy given his painstaking attempt to cast himself as an outsider. "Our political class," Duss states, "advocates military violence with a regularity and ease that is psychopathic." Duss' comment is both accurate and wildly ironic, given his choice to advocate our political class's military violence in Ukraine -- with the remarkable ease that he identifies in others as psychopathic.

When it comes to how the Biden administration has handled the Ukraine crisis, Duss cannot identify a single fault. "The Biden team clearly did not seek this war," Duss claims, and "in fact… made a strenuous, and very public, diplomatic effort to avert it."

Duss does not explain what the administration's "strenuous" diplomacy entailed, perhaps because even its top officials now openly admit that none existed.

In an interview with War on the Rocks, State Department counsellor Derek Chollet was asked if NATO expansion into Ukraine was "on the table" in pre-invasion contacts with Russia. "It wasn't," Chollet replied. The White House, Chollet explained, "made clear to the Russians that we were willing to talk to them on issues that we thought were genuine concerns they have that were legitimate in some way," including "arms control." (emphasis added) But when it comes to "the future of Ukraine" and its potential NATO membership, Chollet said, this was deemed a "non-issue."

To Duss, the Biden administration's (openly admitted) refusal to even discuss Russia's core demands – and to only entertain issues that it deemed to be "legitimate" on Russia's behalf – is apparently a "strenuous diplomatic effort." If "diplomacy" amounts to enforcing US hegemony, as many in DC seem to believe, then Duss would have a case. But in the rest of the world, where diplomacy entails constructive dialogue with a semblance of parity, he does not.

Duss also takes aim at the argument, advanced by prominent leftists including former Brazilian President Lula da Silva, that a US-European pledge that Ukraine won't join NATO "would have solved the problem” with Russia.

To refute Lula, Duss stresses that "in the weeks leading up to the war, U.S. allies, specifically German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and French President Emmanuel Macron, signaled clearly" that Ukraine's NATO ascension "was not going to happen." According to Duss, it is Putin who sabotaged their efforts by invading, and who "has now made that discussion moot."

Duss omits what also happened in the weeks leading up to the war. While Germany and France did indeed float a proposal to keep Ukraine out of NATO, it was Ukraine – with US backing – that rejected it. According to an account in the Wall Street Journal, Scholtz proposed to Volodymyr Zelensky on Feb. 19 – five days before Russia's invasion -- that Ukraine "renounce its NATO aspirations and declare neutrality as part of a wider European security deal," signed by both Putin and Biden. But Zelensky rejected Schultz's plan, a response that "left German officials worried that the chances of peace were fading." In dismissing the Germans' NATO proposal, Zelensky joined the Biden White House, as State’s Derek Chollet acknowledged and other Biden officials made clear in public.

Ignoring US-Ukrainian rejectionism, Duss then declares that "it seems absurd to suggest that even an ironclad public pledge from President Biden that Ukraine would never be accepted into NATO would have convinced Putin to draw back the 180,000 troops he had placed on Ukraine’s borders." Perhaps, but that very public pledge happened to be the centerpiece of Germany's last-minute diplomatic effort – one that Duss himself invoked, and that Zelensky (along with Biden) chose to reject.

Duss' whitewashing of the Biden administration's rejection of diplomacy before the Russian invasion carries over to the period since.

Since Russia's invasion, Duss says, the White House has "acted with restraint and care not to get drawn into a wider war with Russia." While it is true that Biden has opted not to start World War III – in other words, has opted not to trigger a global suicide pact -- he has done anything but act with "restraint." One day before Duss' article was published, Biden authorized the delivery of medium-range advanced rocket systems to Ukraine. These rockets have the capacity to strike inside of Russia; the US is acting on Ukraine's assurance that it won't.

Duss may support undermining diplomacy in Ukrainr and shipping off billions of dollars worth of heavy weaponry instead, but this can only be described as "restraint" if the sole measure is an immediate — rather than merely prospective — nuclear holocaust.

Duss is so impressed with Biden's handling of the war that he cannot even detect a tangible path that could end it.  "As of this writing," Duss declares, "I have seen no evidence of a settlement in the offing—as in, a deal that Putin would actually entertain, let alone accept—that we’re refusing to 'push for.'"

If Duss cannot see evidence of a realistic settlement that Russia could accept, then he is being willfully blind. Russia's explicit proposals, issued before the war and after, including two weeks into the invasion, called on Ukraine to "cease military action, change its constitution to enshrine neutrality, acknowledge Crimea as Russian territory, and recognise the separatist republics of Donetsk and Lugansk as independent states."

It is worth noting that the latter is Russia's only new condition: for the eight years before the February invasion, Russia formally accepted the Minsk accords, which, to end the Donbas war, would have kept the Donetsk and Lugansk regions inside Ukraine's borders, with limited autonomy.

Duss is free to argue that Russia's terms for ending the war are unacceptable. But to pretend that Russia has not even laid out those terms, is to essentially advocate that the war never end.

By omitting Russia's stated terms for a settlement, Duss also allows himself to erase one of the invasion's key causes: the 2014 Maidan coup, and the ensuing eight-year Donbas war that had left more than 14,000 people dead by the time Russian forces crossed the border on February 24th.

In his 2500+ word piece, Duss makes no mention of the Donbas war and how it began: the 2014 ouster of a democratically elected Ukrainian president, with new leadership selected by Washington; the coup government's assault on Ukraine's ethnic Russian and anti-coup citizens, who launched a rebellion in the Donbas; the critical role of fascists and neo-Nazis in the Maidan coup and the Donbas war since; the fascist-led sabotage of the 2015 Minsk accords, which could have put an end to the conflict. By omitting this history, Duss can also omit how the US has helped undermining the Minsk agreements by siding with Ukrainian’s far-right and choosing to use the Donbas war to "fight Russia over there" (Adam Schiff) and "make Russia pay a heavier price," (John McCain), because Ukraine's "fight is our fight." (Lindsey Graham).

After ignoring Russia's stated grounds for a peace settlement, Duss goes on to disingenuously claim that the Ukrainian government has been pushing for one.

“Ukraine presented Russia with a far-reaching set of proposals over a month ago, including a commitment to ‘permanent neutrality,’” Duss claims. “Volodomyr Zelenskiy continues to offer to negotiate directly with Putin to end the war.”

It is true that Ukraine presented Russia with a 10-point plan in late March. But Duss omits what happened immediately after: while Russia "signaled its preliminary support," (RAND analyst Samuel Charap) Ukraine's Western backers sabotaged it, and Zelensky acquiesced. In early April, Ukrainian and Russian officials were finalizing details for a Zelensky-Putin summit. But UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson traveled to Kiev and ordered him to halt diplomacy. Citing sources close to Zelensky, Ukrayinska Pravda reports that Johnson informed his Ukrainian counterpart that Putin "should be pressured, not negotiated with." Johnson also relayed that even if Russia and Ukraine chose to sign security guarantees, the UK and its allies would not take part – rendering any such agreement worthless.

Zelensky clearly received the message, as Duss's own source makes clear. When Duss claims that Zelensky "continues to offer to negotiate directly with Putin to end the war," he links to a Reuters article that reveals such an "offer" to be hollow. Zelensky, Reuters reports, said he would only negotiate with Putin if Russia first withdrew entirely from Ukraine – an obvious non-starter. "Get out of this territory that you have occupied since February 24," Zelensky said. "This is the first clear step to talking about anything." Zelensky also "ruled out suggestions… that Ukraine should make concessions for the sake of securing a peace agreement that would allow Putin to save face."

Thus, returning to Duss' rendering, Zelensky's "far-reaching proposals" were immediately rescinded under Western orders, and Zelensky's "offer to negotiate" was premised on a condition that would have made negotiations impossible.

None of this is to suggest that Russia was justified in launching an invasion of Ukraine. To defend the use of force, which has been so catastrophic, Russia has to meet a high burden of evidence that, in my view, it has not. But one does not need to defend Russia's invasion to see through Duss' attempt to whitewash the US role in provoking and prolonging it.

Tellingly, Duss is openly hostile to journalists who have reported on the context that he has omitted. Out of nowhere, Duss introduces an attack on The Grayzone, the Max Blumenthal-founded news outlet that I work for. While Duss has nothing but praise for Biden, he has nothing but ad hominems for us ("pernicious authoritarian agitprop," "atrocity-denying grifters" "click-baiting provocateurs"). After sharing this vitriol, he then immediately declares that engaging with us is "wasting time."

I feel the same way about his juvenile name-calling, but interested readers can judge for themselves whether his insults are supported by facts. (He links to two "sources," one a Medium blog post that, true to the neo-McCarthyite norm, peddles innuendo that The Grayzone is funded by Russia, among other smears).

If Duss is genuinely concerned about wasting time, he also might reflect on why he devotes ample space to paying lip service to progressive principles, only to ultimately endorse policies that flagrantly violate them. "Centering opposition to U.S. imperialism and militarism is an entirely appropriate starting point," Duss states. Yet Duss' desired end point would see leftists center U.S. imperialism and militarism, with disastrous results: among them, prolonging a proxy war against a nuclear armed power, threatening a worsening global food crisis, and sentencing more Ukrainians to death.

Even putting aside US complicity in the Ukraine proxy war and its dangers for the planet, progressives like Duss might wish to consider the likely political consequences. One obvious guide is the election of 2016, when Donald Trump won over a significant portion of voters by claiming to oppose the military interventionism that Duss is now urging progressives to embrace. Having seemingly learned nothing from 2016, Democrats in 2022 are again ceding anti-war sentiment to Republicans, 68 of whom voted against the $40 billion Ukraine bill in the House and Senate (versus zero Democrats).

As at least some Republicans vote against the proxy war, Biden has defended the domestic pain caused by his Ukraine proxy war by blaming "Putin's Price Hike" and trying to argue that "defending freedom is going to cost." Biden's defense of "freedom" in Ukraine is now costing him a transatlantic flight to grovel at the feet of the Saudi autocracy, in the hopes of staving off a humiliating cost in the November midterms.  

Continuing his mealy mouthed approach, Duss both claims to support diplomacy while simultaneously declaring it to be unattainable. The US, he says, "should certainly be actively engaged in finding a diplomatic path to end the war, and avoid committing to maximalist aims that could foreclose one." But yet, according to Duss, "for the moment that path is unclear."

If the path toward peace for Ukraine is unclear to Duss, then that can only because he has chosen to erase the factual background and the diplomatic solutions on offer, thereby reinforcing the "maximalist aims" that he claims to oppose. Duss's proxy war apologia will certainly win him a warm reception in establishment DC circles. For the US progressive movement, Ukraine, and the rest of the planet, it only spells disaster.
