Six U.S. doctors have had their licenses suspended and 18 more threatened as they are accused of spreading misinformation about COVID-19. The action comes amidst concern that their claims are generating mistrust in officially sanctioned health measures used to combat the pandemic.
By the end of 2021, TrialSite reported that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) advised the Federation of State Medical Boards to monitor doctors behavior more closely regarding their prescriptions of early off-label treatments for COVID.
Before the December FDA to Federation of State Medical Boards (FSMB) communication, by August 2021, the FSMB issued a statement indicating that they would suspend or revoke the licenses of physicians who spread misinformation and disinformation about COVID-19 vaccines.
The statement made by the FSMB Board of Directors specifically mentioned spreading misinformation about vaccines. However, Joe Knickrehm, vice president of communications for the FSMB, said in an email to MedPage Today that the call “refers to any misinformation or disinformation that is being generated or spread by a physician, whether in a private clinical encounter or shared publicly.”

Need to include Dr. Meryl Nass in Maine
Her suspension was a hit job with media around the world ready to carry the story.
She did something wrong, for sure. Rule in Maine that cannot prescribe ivermectin for Covid-19
She had a very ill patient who was unable to drive 2 hours to get the medicine so she said the prescription was for Lyme. They were waiting for any misstep
Easy to find because the media covered it extensively. She had no complaints from patients. And she is ordered to undergo a psychiatric exam. It would be fun to be in the room because she has written extensively and published a lot in the years when she was an expert in biological weapons. She is now on substack.
OK, that doctor who had COVID symptoms probably shouldn’t have gone to work, and the other one who was giving out vaccine exemptions probably should have at least seen patients once just for the sake of appearance. Other than that, I really don’t see much of anything else wrong.
Most of the accusations are for telling the truth supported by recent trial data, admissions by FDA, CDC, WHO, a growing number of Health Officials, and some politicians running scared as they realise all their lies are coming home to roost!
Sue the boards for supporting Government misinformation. This post is a list of doctors with personal integrity. Huge admiration for those resolving the conflict manifest within medicine today.
This is criminal. Please keep us posted.
I’d say it’s doctors exercising their right to treat patients in a lot of these cases. And the evidence is on their side. I assume they can sue these medical boards and obtain compensation? Hmm… that’s right… this is America… probably not.
