CRESPIGNAGA, TREVISO – A 49-year-old woman has died 11 days after receiving the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine. Nadia Positello, an ice cream maker, got her shot on September 30th. Her health quickly deteriorated after the injection and she died on October 11th. The family is now seeking answers for her sudden death.

Nadia lived with her family in the village of Crespignaga di Maser where she managed the ‘Canova ice cream shop’ together with her sister Lidia. She was well-known in the village.

She was accompanying her 14-year-old daughter to school yesterday when she began to experience severe stomach pains and breathing difficulties. Her husband immediately tried to take her to hospital but the 49-year-old had already passed away upon arrival.

The autopsy date will be set in the next few days as a request by the family to clarify the sudden death was accepted by the authorities. The date of the funeral will be set after the results of the autopsy examination.
